Honestly wasn’t that bad or even interesting. Same exact dipshit style of apartments most of us stayed in back in the day except it was/in prominently viewed by everyone going to/from campus

One of my best friends lived there with his eventual wife at the time. She was managing them. This was probably 20 years ago. They were a good deal, but quite 70's/80's contemporary shitholes. I can't even imagine what they look like now.

Not El CID but I temporarily saw a girl who lived at Gaslite while I was at LSU. Man it was a weird phase of my life. It taught me that you can judge a person based on the apartment they live in.

I lived there sophomore year 2003
Freshman year lived with my baws in a house in sharlo and had too much fun. GPA was low 3s and i needed better than that so lived alone in el cid for a year and got a 4.0 plus studied my arse off for mcat
Then went back to living in sharlo
El cid was fine at that time for a college kid. Girls in the office were good at getting maintenance to come quickly for any issues
