Can you bring some Lost Pizza to the next OT party? I love that shite.

It looks like Leesville is about to get smoked. Any idea what the rainfall totals are projected to be there? I have family just south of there.

I farm catfish so I'm good long as we don't get 8'' or more in a few hours causing the ponds to overflow the banks

I know there are a couple of spots along 45 that are still covered, but the entire thing isn't, so hard to tell where you can cut around and can't Its doable, just a pain in the arse. Maybe 45, to 99, to 290, down to 10.

No, not it is not possible as of yesterday before dark.

Maybe 45, to 99 - No, Cypress Creek and Spring Creeks are rivers from 290 to 59

to 99, to 290 to 10 - No Cypress Creek a a quarter mile wide thru here

No one is getting past Cypress Creek and Spring Creek not via Heli or Boat.

Rescuers in poert arthur advised to carry red spray paint to mark houses, and not to touch dead bodies. Per cajun navy channel.

Sounds like Port Aurthur got hammered. Info was saying water levels last night were rising 4-5' per hour.

If you have to break in and take some food/water because you're stranded, that's one thing. However, no one needs to take a new pair of shoes or a TV.

For those in the Richmond area, Brazos forecast to crest on Friday. Still at 57.5'

News coming out of that area this morning is horrible. It alone would be a huge national story, if not in the shadows of Houston.

Good morning OT. I live in League City and we received 50.4 inches of rain at our home from Friday through Tuesday. I was fortunate and didn't get any water in the house. The only thing that saved us was the break in rain from Saturday night and Monday night. Today we are going volunteer at shelters for those that weren't as lucky. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

We won't, but they'll have the same historical place as Mississippi does during Katrina. The moment Houston flooded, Rockport became a footnote, unfortunately. Port Arthur and Beaumont will have the same fate.

Glad to hear you're okay. I've got family in Santa Fe that took on some water, but no injuries and are handling it as well as you can.
