Can we get a thread for Louisiana? With Harvey about to make landfall here I'd like a thread where we can discuss current conditions, power outages, road closures, etc.

The two stickies threads are Texas consumed ( rightfully so) but I'm sure people would like a thread to click on and see what's going currently and locally to where it's headed/ going/ currently at.

Why not just post it on here? It's not a dick measuring contest to see who floods more...

How does this thing continue to look more organized at each end of the day compared to earlier on? I mean, thats back to having a well defined eye, wtf.

Has the Brazos peaked yet?

It has at San Felipe, but it is supposed to crest Thursday @ Richmond. The 57.5 projection seems a bit high at this point, but I can't really question it as I don't know the dynamics of the river.

Pretty sure people would rather not have to wade through everything to get their areas info is all.

Eldridge Parkway at Buffalo Bayou is where boats are dropping off folks to be picked up. That entire neighborhood is experiencing the rising bayou waters

That's really just well defined low level circulation. There is very little convection around the center and basically no convention in 3 of the 4 quadrants.

Does that include Tomball?

I have an employee that lives up there and no one has heard from him since Saturday.

Thanks. I know our Sienna Plantation posters are watching that closely. Some have water sitting at the porch. A few rain free days and as far south of 59' as it can get is great news.
