How bad will the flooding continue? Just glancing at the weather map, they are calling for rain and thunderstorms ton continue for the following week?
When will it let up?

@wxmvpete
now
Harvey's position SW of Houston & over water is not good. SE flow shown is leading to additional shower development over the metro area.

Houston getting pounded again... Looked like it was forming an hour or two ago and it has come to fruition.

30-35ish seems to be average according to what I'm seeing

What about all that dry air wrapping in?

The proximity is increasing the strength of the flow over Houston. Primes the pump for showers to redevelope. Houston can't catch a break.

it's fine bro....Houston is built for taking a flood, it drains very well. they have big storms like this all the time and 2 days later it's business as usual.

Sorry I haven't browsed all 400+ pages. What's the outlook for the Baton Rouge area in regards to flooding this week? My parents are having PTSD.

You're disturbingly happy about that

With this storm looking like it's gonna move east into LA and move NE.... how much do you think that will effect the rain totals for the BR area????

Don't be chadboi dude. Congrats, y'all were right about the flooding. Get yourself a cookie. People are losing everything they have and you'd rather gloat about a couple idiots on a message board.
