I saw they had to evacuate everyone. They are right there on Allen Parkway so it was a matter of time. Cbs Dallas affiliate has taken over coverage for them

Yes. It's expected to go south back over the Gulf and then back inland towards Galveston.

One half of the neighborhood is flooded. Blessed to not live on that side. If it makes another pass like the initial one, I fear for everyone.

59 at 610 was under water and so was those areas south of Galleria. Meyerland also portions under water but not sure how the River Oaks neighborhood is holding up. Probably not good near the bayou

@HEB is a good Twitter follow. They are constantly updating store openings and closures in the Houston area and locations of their mobile kitchens handing out free meals

Rain has slacked off over here but the water level in the creek nearby keeps marching upwards. This might be cutting it pretty close to keep water out of the house. If the water level starts going down before it enters the house, I will break open a cold one to celebrate.
