Levi Cowan is showing a dropsonde with 125 kts and 925 mb @ 381 m, almost 1000 feet up.

This thing is still strengthening...

Yeah man. Who wants to be around when they're calling for over 15-20" of rain. The power will be out for at least a couple of days if not more.

Wilma is the most intense storm in the North Atlantic by lowest pressure of 882. Rita and Katrina are also in the top 10 with lowest pressure of 895 and 902, respectively.

ETA: Typhoon Tip got down around 870 I believe

Patricia that smacked Mexico two years ago was at 872MB with 215 MPH winds.
