I think we all lose sight of this as we go thru each day. The next day is not guaranteed. I'm a workaholic and i do it so that my family never has to worry about finances but post like this, seeing people dying walking the french quarter etc.. really has me questioning my work life balance to be honest. I think there are a lot of us in this life probably in the same boat thinking that in 5 years ,10 years i'll be able to spend more time with their kids, wife etc. We may not get that chance. Sorry for your Loss Jim that was a great Homage to your SO.
