Day by day for a while friend. It gets better. The sorrow doesn’t really go away it, it hopefully and with prayer turns into something different and peaceful.

I don't believe that to be true. If posting your feelings here helps you in any way, then keep doing it. It may also help someone else suffering a loss. Grief is a journey and it's an individual journey. Do what you need to do for you.

Jim. You may know that I just went through this. It’s raw at first. It’s sucks bad and is a brutal feeling of loneliness. It’s been just over three months and it’s still a hard grind. I talk to her all the time. I’ve been Lonely even while being with a group of people. I’m not sure what faith you have but I have leaned on mine a ton… best wishes my friend. Stay strong as you can. DO NOT GIVE UP.. I’m praying for you brother.

Take a moment to sit and write down things while they are fresh in your memory. Good times. Maybe not-so-good times, but perhaps something you learned in those moments that made you a better man. Your feelings in the moment.
There will be things in time that you will forget, so it will be refreshing to go back and read thru these treasures.
Sounds strange, but fwiw, I always smile when I see you post simply because "The Rockford Files" is one of my all-time favorites TV shows. I don't watch it nearly enough and have yet to finish the series, for whatever reason.
