I don't think Endymion or Zulu have announced their changes yet. No way in hell this happens before Mardi Gras.

The city council had a meeting this week to discuss parade routes. I haven’t seen anything that came out of that meeting.

Didn't think about the dome renovations.

What about

Canal > right on Claiborne > left on Tulane > right on Loyola > left on Poydras > right on Tchoup > towards the Convention Center

Can't make it to Rampart with the road blocked. Also I don't think might want to avoid people near the building site. Elk Place might be a tight turn and I don't know if those trees give enough clearance.

This plan has changed so many times. It's as if no one knows what to do here.

It seems the developers just explored a lot of different options.

Not sure if they caved to the city for the fast/expensive option.

Stick to a fricking plan and quit being so god damn incompetent

So if they stick to this plan, the day the implosion happens you won't be in that in-game thread complaining?

I often have to laugh at people like you who will sit here and take such a passionate, strong stance about something you know nothing about... are you a contractor? Are you a demolition expert? Do you know about all the behind scenes bullshite that goes on with this type of shite?

No? Well I guess it’s easier to just sit here and feign outrage then, frick it

Any human with a pulse knew that implosion was absolutely necessary, from the day it happened. You cant salvage a partially collapsed building that wasnt built to code in the first place!
The purest of idiots thought it could be saved.

The city realizes they are going to be held partially liable for incompetent inspectors and wants all the evidence destroyed.

Who thought it could be saved in the discussions in the last month or so?

Go find the thread about statue removal. About 10 hours of people saying that the crane was going to collapse and there was no way possible they would get it down.
