To my Dad, who adopted me, thank you.
Men easily get the short-end of the stick in our current culture. Women have lost a sense of gratitude for what their husbands provide and the children are taught that Dad is nothing more than an ATM.
I am strong-willed, but my Dad knew when to humble me.
I am grateful that my vows included the words "serve" and "obey". On my side, not his.
To the Dad's out there, doing it right

Ready to enjoy some work around the house and getting everything ready to start a new week on Monday as I wonder where the all the Mother’s Day sentiments could have disappeared to in such a short time. Father’s Day, much like Mother’s Day is a reminder that it’s not about you. And that’s ok. to the dads who show up anyway.

My wife put together a picture reel for fb earlier with me and the all my kids through the last several years and it did put a smile on my face. Im glad she stays on top of taking memories because ive never been one for pictures and videos. These will be more and more precious to me as time goes on.
