I left that song out of my OP. Good catch.

No, thank you.

I had to call my daughter and remind her of singing along to that song when she was a child. We would be in my Supra with the Targa top out and she would be singing along with the cassette tape.

She just listened to it and called me back.

"It Was Almost Like a Song", and "Nobody Likes Sad Songs" define the two losses in my life.

Thank you, Ronnie, and Happy Birthday.

My wife and I attended his performance at the Corporate Square Marriott auditorium about 20 years ago. He performed for two hours and the time went by like it was 45 minutes. I knew he could sing but I never knew how funny he could be especially when he joked about being blind. He’d sing a song or two, tell a funny story about a personal experience, get serious for a minute then start singing again. Very entertaining evening.

I see someone downvoted the OP - probably a Canadian MMA reporter.

You know, it wasn't until the other year I really thought about

"Stranger in my house"

There's a stranger in my house, somebody here that I can't see

Well damn Ronnie, you're blind. You can't see anybody anyway!

Saw him at the Cajundome a while back.

He was the middle act between Taylor Swift (before she was what she is now) and King George.

Ronnie stole the damn show that night.

I’d say it’s “Almost Like a Song”

Man I now have to go back and find all my 8 tracks. Saw him at McNeese a million years ago and he did the “let me just walk to the edge of the stage” bit while everyone yelled NOOO!

Was so silky smooth. Loved that guy’s music.
