I used to like her….and then sh came to the Dome for Endymion….
She put on a canned show and totally didn’t engage with the crowd…
In my experience, anyone who makes any sort of effort to modify their show for the audience is very warmly received….she didn’t and wasn’t….

She is obviously a pretty girl, but I think what makes her attractive to everyone is her ability to sing.

another reason I don't care for those pre-determined superstar, Karaoke singers, the real performers cut their teeth paying their dues playing shithole clubs for as many nights a year as they wanted to eat, honing their craft, learning how to work the house, and how to improvise, American Idol, AGT et al all suck, Disney and Sony get to pick the next gen's "star"

FWIW, Carrie had a record deal before Idol but it had fallen through a few years prior.
Even Simon Cowell was shocked she hadn't been signed to a deal yet.
