Yesterday I'm passing traffic going 80 in a 65. Guy comes up from behind me and gets all pissy. I switch lanes when done passing, and he blows horn as he passes me.

Tailgating left lane drivers is appropriate. Doing it to right lane people is dickish. Sometimes you need to be smart and just speed up to let the guy go by because the retards in the left lane become everyones burden. The Left Lane tax...

It's never appropriate but I see what you're trying to say. Even still, there's plenty assholes on the road that are gonna tailgate no matter how fast you're driving. I've never been a "slow" driver, always 8 or so over the limit unless I'm passing. Never tailgated and never moved for a tailgater. If I'm doing 10+ over in the left lane, I'm passing and getting back over on my terms

I agree, but I'm a 10-15 over the limit guy that refuses to tailgate.
The worst is when you're in the left lane going 80-85 in a 70 and some douche rides your arse like you should be going faster, and then just lingers there at your left at the same speed when you get out of the way.
