I don't know, we lived an awful long time before anyone gave a shite about the statues. Maybe they need to move on away from the faux outrage because they lost an election and take a shower and get a job.

just like reparations, will never happen. let them be angry for the rest of their lives over this if thats any consolation.

No because this is exactly what happens when life is too good. You worry about Bs things. Other parts of the world are just trying to make it through the day

No. It's the bums we have that are against the free enterprise system because they are lazy spoiled brats. And the control freaks that will use them to gain more power and control.

I would be happy to pay reparations. I will give them what $5,000 in today's dollars was worth back then. For that they agree to be expelled from this country never to return.

At this point I've stopped caring. I'll just vote my conscience, treat those I interact with in a respectful manner, and donate to causes that I believe important.

And a plagiarist and a Communist sympathizer and- by most accounts- a piece of shite human being that beat his wife, cussed out his staff and lied his arse off.

People are so dumb when they try to judge people of the past on the moral code of today
I will LOL from my grave when in 200 years they prove that fetuses felt the pain and massacre of abortion, and every D from modern times is erased from history
ETA: I will also kick myself in the dick for laughing at the though of pain being felt by fetuses. But yall get what I am getting at

Tear down the Alamo. It is offensive. Mexicans are Americans too. They were murdered and their land was taken from them by racist white people. The names of Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and San Houston should be removed from all streets and schools too. Tear down all of their statues. Very offensive to so many Americans. Tear them down.
Stupid. The better analogy is the people of Corpus Christi erecting a statue of General Santa Anna. Not sure how well that would be received.

Is it really better though? I don't believe he was American.

the length of time is irrelevant... it's about whether is right for America, in it's context to how we are progressing as a society or not....
like i said, they should never have been there, and had they not been, we wouldn't be having this god damn discussion, but here we are...

maybe... and it may also be time for both sides to stop talking/yelling and starting listening/empathizing... it doesn't help when you have chaos trickling down from the top levels of leadership, people who you should be able to have trust in, in regards to their ethical and moral fortitude, but this is where we are right now... this is where we chose to be...

In your opinion.
I could care less about it. I say let them dumb bitches fight til the death. This world needs more doers and less of these types.

To be fair he said it was worth discussing, and after a short discussion explaining the difference between founding fathers and people who actually fought in war against the United States, he should see he is wrong.

I'm so sick of all of the insanity on both extremes. Fortunately, normal Americans on both sides far outnumber the left and right wing extremists.
