my wife watches all of those damn things
It seems every farkin movie has Candice Bure in it. She has 4 taped, and will probably watch the channel all day today and watch the taped ones later.
And yes, the plots are ALWAYS the same, especially when the person opens up a bakery/eatery/store, and the big bad corporation tries to shut them down, but a Christmas miracle always happens.

Hallmark Christmas movies--keeping Candace Cameron employed since 2002.

And in this year's version you get to see her twice as she plays twin sisters.
Plus her daughter is featured (someone has to keep the family empire going! Unfortunately I don't have pictures--don't know how to post them on TD)

Some of them are good.
My favorite is The Christmas Note as it doesn't follow the traditional plot of "man meets woman/woman meets man--they eventually kiss and decide to get married".
Instead it follows one woman's search to find the sibling she never knew she had.
And Leah Gibson is drop dead gorgeous! (Again no pics, don't know how to post them to TD)

These movies should give all the plant baws hope that they can pull these beautiful ladies. Apparently the blue collar thing is irresistible.

My wife watches all of them and it drives me nuts. She literally has around 30 movies on the DVR right now. I just can't watch them, but I don't watch much TV either

Every one of these movies has the perfect beautiful woman, they all live like OT ballers and have perfect homes. The women are always lawyers or doctors or aspiring bakery owners. The Prince always has his own jet or he is a handyman that quit being a lawyer with a baller family. It is always so damned fake with the same scene. The woman lost her spouse or never had one and is butthurt. The Prince charming guy always waits for her to figure out he is a perfect Prince. Add dogs and cats. They are all the same...

Guilty pleasure of ours. Wife and I watch 'em every year. Sometimes we genuinely like the movie, other times we'll just make fun of the actors/plot.
But it's harmless Christmas fun

This is true. This is the only reason I can stomach the movies being on. The plots are so terrible.
Each Christmas movie has the following:
1. woman moves to small quaint town
2. has a businees driven, a-hole/ controlling fiance/ boyfriend
3. meets a scarf and sweater wearing guy who just loves her interest in greeting cards, etc.
4. always some kind of contest for a float in a Christmas parade (of which the new guy loves to help, whereas a-hole boyfriend has "work to do")
5. perky old father / grandfather ready with life's advice
6. new guy has the perfect 10 year old daughter who just loves everything the main woman in the movie does. Plus said daughter is always willing to help out around the house, etc.
7. each house these people live in are immaculately decorated with $$$$$ of nice furniture.
8. always snow on the ground
perfect dad doctor

Putting on Hallmark Movies is the best way to clear me out of the room.

Big city writer comes home for holidays and meets small town guy she sizes up as a yokel. She has car trouble or something and he ends up giving her a ride home. Turns out he was a hot shot lawyer in New York that moved back temporarily to care for his sick mother and fell in love with the small town. Then yada yada and she leaves for the airport and he has the sads..........
But she changes her mind at the terminal and rushes back to the small town.

Anybody old enough to remember the movie “JT” about the little city kid, and all he wanted for Christmas was his mother to let him bring home, and care for this stray cat? I cried every year.

don't foget the snow ball fight. there is always a snowball fight and they fall in love because she just so happens to fall on top of him.
