You don’t even have to pretend you like them. Just keep your snide remarks to yourself. I used to scoff when they would end up slipping on the ice and landing on top of each other, then they’d stare for a few minutes before being interrupted by the cute dog.
Now I just act like I don’t notice the stupidity of the plot. Works out well for me.

Every movie is literally the same plot. It's as if Nicholas Sparks wrote all of those movies, and if you're married, you know all about Nicky Sparks. Barf.

Any baws have the sack to admit they have bawled their eyes out watching? I got damn close yesterday, but the wife was watching with me and I don't think she was close, so I couldn't be the only one weeping. Was able to hold them back and get through it with my dignity in tact!

The fricking Hallmark Channel is like crack for middle-aged women.
Part of my job has me installing/repairing DirecTV and Uverse TV service. Guaranteed if a female over 45/50 lives in the home, at least 1 of the TVs will have that channel playing or recording. Hell, my own wife hasn't hit that age bracket yet, and she has Hallmark on just about constant record this time of year.
I don't get it. I can sit down and watch 2 minutes of a movie with my wife, and I know who all the characters are. I mean it's a standardized formula they use, and it's pretty easy to decode.

I love the Hallmark movies, not because I watch them, but it gives my wife something to do during hunting season so she isn't mad that I am gone all day. Hunters for the Hallmark Channel

It’s a love hate. I haven’t watched ONE this year yet (although i did DVR 2) but I know I’ll get sucked in. Those movies are so good. The other network L.... something has great movies too

Everything that everyone has said is true. Nearly every movie has the same plot. I admit I will watch sometimes it mostly for the hot women.

The one with Lacey Chabert and Maria Carey (Christmas Melody) was filmed in the small town I live in Ohio (Wyoming, OH). I live two blocks from main street, so we would watch it being filmed all the time. Lacey Chabert was really nice and talked to all the teen age girls (including my daughter) while not shooting. Of course all the girls asked her about "Mean Girls" and not what she was doing now. She is so tiny, and, of course, extremely hot in person. Maria was her diva self and rarely left her makeup tent.
All that being said, my wife puts these damn shows on when she gets home from work until she falls asleep and all day on the weekends. The predictable plots are easy to read (wife hates when I "spoil" it for her 6 minutes into movie), and characters always too "perfect". I hate them with a passion, but it makes the wife happy and at least she does not ask me to watch them with her.

The Christmas Card and Christmas with Holly are some of the best. We watch at our house. Makes you feel good but in last few years Hallmark is now more focused on the mushy show rather than some that actually have some drama story to it.
A Dog Named Christmas, Silver Bells, Fallen Angel, The Most Wonderful Time of The Year are some better ones but are older now. Christmas Train this year wasn't bad.
Now they have Hallmark Mysteries and Movies for the non really mushy ones.
Lacey Chabert is a smoke show.
