Hair transplants, would you do it, or just go bald?

Here is Sonny from the "Best ever food review show" actually a good channel to catch.

Anyway he went to Thailand and got $3000 hair plugs (that's cheap for the procedure) and documented the entire thing.

My hairline is starting to look like the Wu Tang logo so I'm somewhat interested.

$3000 Thai hair plug

The after looked good but the healing process looked like it sucked.

I've seen guys at work spend a small fortune to regain that youthful mane, they all eventually lost the hair again and it looked even worse

I've seen people with horrible hair transplants that look worse than if they'd just shaved their heads. I've also seen people get hair transplants early on, and they continued to bald, so they had to go back for more transplants.

Once my hair loss got to be too much to hide, I just shaved it off.

That being said, its hard to believe in this day and age we don't have a cure for baldness yet.

1st off, I would not go to Thailand for ANY medical procedure! Secondly, I'm currently taking a pill everyday that's about $13 bucks a month that has seemed to stop the loss and I'm in a holding pattern. If it ever worsens, I'll shave it. I can justify $13 a month to keep what I got.

Or the ability to trick our bodies into regrowing teeth like cuticles.

We don't have a cure for aging yet, so of course we wouldn't have cures for things like baldness or menopause or hearing loss.

Like others have said, I work with a guy who went the transplant route. It looked ridiculous at first, then grew in, then started falling out again.

He’s back to having a very noticeable bald patch on the crown of his head.

When mine started falling out I just got it cut shorter, until that started to look bad. No way in hell was I going to be a comb over guy.

I shave my head once a week. Done.

Well that's how it showed up on his credit card bill anyway.

shite. It's like the best country for medical tourism.

Many American and European trained doctors and you can recover in paradise for cheap.

I'm not personally going to.
I just keep a 1981 haircut and it's fine.
