Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has broken the WR deadlift at 501kg (1,102.2 lb)!

I started a similar thread on the Health/Fitness board a while back, but thought some here may be interested.
ESPN is supposed to broadcast at 12 noon EST. There is a free livestream that will show all the boring details of weighing the plates and such, but should have plenty of interesting content here (you have to sign up):

It should be interesting to see if he can do it. If he makes the lift, he has said he will attempt heavier for his 4th lift, 520 Kg or more.
The same site will also livestream quite a few other world and national record attempts in the coming months.
