I know the heartbreak well, but I'll go through time and time again to know the joy of having a pet. All that joy and unconditional love is what makes it so hard worth it for me.

Your boy was adorable. I'm so sorry. It's hell to say goodbye.

It'll get better. Takes time. You'll never forget that doggie friend. Later, consider sharing your home and love with another. You're obviously a good person for doggies.

Sad sad. I hate hearing stories like this. I got two three year old pups. They are great. Just like two kids.

I am going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We all dread the day you have just had, but you were there with your beautiful dog, and I know your dog was so much more comfortable with you there. Prayers for you and your dog.

Sorry for your loss. Any idea what caused his condition?

No not sure. Vet just said his liver was so small it was barely detectable. He always had a unique smell about him, even after a bath. It wasn't bad, just "his" smell. Now I know why. Wish I would have known something sooner, maybe could have bought us a couple years.

Sorry for your loss. My suggestion is to get another dog pretty soon. Some will say you need to wait, but since we have multiple pets, when one dies, we already have another right there. And we'll get another and to me it always helps take away the pain while enjoying a new dog or cat.

Sorry for your loss. That was a good looking dog.

I don't know your vet, but the two vets I do know well care more about animals than should be legal. Sometimes their professionalism might mask that in front of clients.

Good luck.

I may have to amputate some of my dogs tail due to happy tail syndrome. He won't quit chewing the bandage off. My sister just got her 2 yo dog home who's now blind. Bil didn't want her locked up in huge front yard and she got hit by a truck. Cost them $1100.

Such a beautiful dog. Sorry for your loss. I'd lose it now if I lost my dog. I don't even want to imagine the loss of a child and what parents go through.

Beautiful dog. May he enjoy his/her playtime on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Take the time to grieve and then find another one to love.
