Stopped to get gas. Walked in to grab a snack and noticed the guy in front of me was somewhat slurry and buying a 12 pack.

Returned to my car and continued to pump my gas When I noticed the guy in his car busting open the 12 pack, cracking one open, then proceeding to drive off.

I didn't think a ton of it at first but then noticed a school was right down the street and kids were getting out for lunch. Something didn't sit well with me...you know when you get those funny feelings....

I called in his plates and reported the activity on 911.

I finished pumping my gas, then left to follow for a bit and two miles down the street saw him pulled over and out of the car. Not sure if my actions were extreme, but I couldn't allow that on my watch.

Good job Narc.

The fact that you called to report him is fine.

The fact that you posted about it kind of makes you a fig.

I don't think that is a "citizen's arrest."

Maybe he was the kind of drunk where you're actually a better driver because you know you're drunk.

Ruining a man's life and his beer time? You should be ashamed.

jk, good job. You perhaps saved a family a lot of grief. (beer intended pun)

You did not make an arrest. So there was no citizens arrest. Sleep well
