Next to the Burger King?

While I agree that place is sketchy, for a real ‘life flash before your eyes’ experience, next time try Happy Discount on Franklin and Dreux.

I used to be down town every day for work pre covid. In the CBD I always felt safe. Not so much right now. I try to work from home as much as possible.

Yep, and any money they get won't be to help those whose lives they ruined. It's sickening, there should be angry mobs in the streets over this.

I walked in Audobon Park, had lunch on Magazine, and went back to work in the CBD. Pretty normal.

Then you go on to say absolutely nothing happened and you just felt scared.

Sound like a bitch.

Good instincts. I’ve never been in real danger filling up there, but that particular Shell attracts some shady people.

The folks in that city voted for Biden, so, I'm sure that their problems will get fixed immediately, if not sooner.

Seriously?

I’ve felt like this since the 80’s.

There is this eerie feeling in the city of desperation and hunger. People are out of work, depressed, and just straight don't give a frick about who or what they need to steal, kill, whatever to survive another 10 minutes.
My 85 year old mother told me the same story in 1972.
