Had a procedure done on my eye and now it's like I'm living in a snapchat filter

Went to the opthamologist yesterday with an eye irritation and he was able to see a small flake of metal that had started to rust on the white part of my eye. He had to numb my eye and dig a little pit to remove the metal and rust. Fast forward to this morning and everything is hazy like a Snapchat filter. Anyone ever experience this? Dr says it's normal but couldn't indicate how long it woold be hazy for.

My kid gouged a piece of my eyeball out when he was a baby. I almost shook him senseless. Went to doc and ive never felt a burn like that before. The eye grows back fwiw.
That's all I got.

A few days to a few weeks. It's like having a corneal abrasion. You just have to wait for it to heal.

Yea he claimed it was pretty common with guys who do metal work (cutting welding and grinding) or automotive work.

That filter can be reprogrammed I am sure.

Good thinking coming to the OT. Ophthalmologists don't know shite about eyes

Again I already talked to the dr and he said it was normal but he couldn't indicate how long it would take, hence the reason I posted here to see others experienced. But thanks for your assinied response. It is noted.

Asinine.
Also, I've had metal drilled out before and the haziness lasted a couple weeks.

So instead of listening to him, I'll go ask the OT

I'm living in a snapchat filter
Now if you can just get the 'angle pic' eye down

I had this happen once. He gave me anti-inflammatory eye drops that were creamy thick and milky white.......yeah I know. It's just like it sounds.
It was so disturbing I just went without the drops.

I had went to the after hours clinic the night before and they gave me ointment for my eye. The opthamologist said to use it a couple more times then discontinue. My visiondidnt go blurry til after I used it. It may be unrelated. Idk
