Prime doesn't include 2 day shipping anymore.

Yes it does.
I have Prime and ordered something last night. Free shipping and they delivered it today before noon.

Does anyone else think this is just wrong to make their employees work on Easter?
Why did you get your delivery scheduled for then?
You had the opportunity.
And no, not wrong. Plenty of people work on all sorts of religious holidays.

Had one delivered too. A part for my dishwasher. I needed it ASAP so I appreciate those making the sacrifice of working on this holiday to delivery my packages.

They do and they don't, all their prime items are not available shipped to all locations 2 days guaranteed as it had been, their policy changed at the end of last year. That said everything we have ordered since then has arrived in either 1 or 2 days.

No. If someone doesn't want to work weekends they can get a new job, but there could be opportunity to work OT and time and a half adds up.
Not to mention, religions (even within Christianity) celebrate Easter different so it doesn't have the same meaning as working on Christmas.

I had to work today. Worked my arse off too. My phone says I climbed 49 flights of stairs and we only have 3 floors. Yikes.

Ok... they don't guarantee 2 day shipping anymore. If you order something that is not in your local DC, you will get it in 4-5 days.

You don’t think Amazon has enough people waiting in line to do these jobs? Not all of their employees share the same beliefs as you.

Amazon prime orders are free 2 day shipping, but some items take one or two days to process. You can see that before you order. The date is still guaranteed on prime orders.

Most businesses offer double pay to volunteers to work on a holiday

They’re probably making time and a half. Good for them.
Not everyone can be like the majority of us on here... sitting at a desk pretending to work all day Monday through Friday.

I ordered something around Christmas, not a gift but an ordinary item that I was in no hurry for. Truck pulls up at my house Christmas morning, and I’m thinking it’s a gift someone rushed in. Nope, it was a pack of underwear I ordered for myself.
