If you don't rerack your weights I'm not saying you're a bad person but I hate you and hope you go away.

I leave one pair of 45s on leg press. Even women can do 90lbs

I consider leaving up to 4 45s on a LP machine "stripped" - but, I think that's the only exception, as far as free weights.

If there is a "house rule" on a calf machine or something like that - I leave it like I find it, but those vary wildly - when in doubt, I strip and re-rack.

Good point!

Everyone should start with warmup sets with an empty bar. I've learned that proper warmup is often the difference maker in whether one ends up injured or not.

I start with an empty bar even if I'm squatting double body weight that day.

always re-rack completely unless someone is waiting behind you and they request you to leave the weight on.

Complete Re-rack is only thing acceptable. You're in the gym lifting, don't get lazy picking up after yourself

depends. If you're at a meat head only type gym, leave a plate. Otherwise, completely re-rack.

If for no other reason than allowing the next person to adjust bar height, you should re-rack.

doesnt touch his chest

since the OP topic is seemingly losing steam, what is the point of not touching your chest on bench? Are you trying to avoid ligament damage? (as I have been told) just varying your workout, or has research determined touching your chest is ineffective?

I see that same irony in someone circling the parking lot for 15 minutes to nab a space close to the door when there are tons of open spaces farther out. Somehow I bet they don't see that irony, can spell irony, or define irony.

As some said, in high school when we were lifting at our school's gym we always left a plate on each side, but at a gym where everyone isn't on the same level you re rack all.
