Isn't this what happened when the SC overturned the "vote of the people" of CA against gay marriage, and somehow made it federal law that all states have to comply with?

that is so fricking stupid. A mascot is supposed to have some meaning to the school. They will get mocked relentlessly for having "nothing" as their mascot. Why not just use an empty gatorade bottle, or a #2 pencil or trash bag as your mascot.
