How about a situation where the wife cheats on husband, divorces him, convinces a judge to slap a restraining order on him (because women are insane when “protecting their children during a divorce”) and then does everything in her power to brainwash the kids and keep them away from daddy.

This happened to a friend of ours. Wife got her way until the daughter was old enough to go through her mother's divorce papers and saw the amount of money that the "observer" charged per hour during visits with her Father. Likewise the claims that her mother made against her Father and the divorce costs that left her Father with no money to help his kids go to college, etc.

Daughter had a blow up with her mother that has not healed.

My father always sent a note to me with a child support check to my mom. Sends money at birthday and Christmas now to me and my kids. He comes to the area and wont call but will supposedly be moving here "soon". Then I won't be surprised if he wants to visit and do stuff. Yuk.

Already planning to ask him why he didn't want anything to do with me then but he does now.

My step father is my daddy.
