I must be taking crazy pills, my wife and I decided to try the new sandwich today after hearing all the hype for a week straight. Don't get me wrong it was good but also vastly overrated. We waited an hour in line (it was ridiculously long). It tasted like regular Popeyes chicken to me, just on a piece of bread. My wife, as well as my mom all agreed the sandwich was not just super amazing.
I will try it again, along with a Chikfila to compare the 2, but as of right now count me on Team ChikFila.

This reminds of two different episodes of the Boondocks. One where there was a new recipe for chicken at a local restaurant & the restaurant ran out chicken from the high demand. The other was when Granddad opened his restaurant called the Itis & the menu was headlined with a burger call The Luther.
