A law, mandate, or ordinance that is dependent upon citizens and/or business owners for enforcement is a bad law, mandate, or ordinance. Police departments across the country have said, without actually saying, they will not enforce mask mandates. They literally have too much other shite to worry about.

A private business has decided to enforce it. They could ignore it and not have someone at the door, but they do.
