He was an idiot with an agenda. If you don't want to wear a mask, don't go onto private property that requires one.
No different than someone insisting that they can go into any establishment without a shirt.
ETA:
To the downvoter, do your rights supercede someone else's? You cool with someone insisting on coming onto your property regardless of your rules?
ETA2:
More downvotes by those who think their rights are stronger than the property owner's.
LA really needs to improve it's education level as well as everything else.

It’s just BS propagated by Karens on the internet and utilized by cowards who can’t be honest and say they aren’t doing it because it’s not comfortable and they don’t feel like it.

They do since COVID. Most days she’s more unwelcoming than welcoming, but that’s besides the point.

Must have told him 3 times as he entered the store. He tells her he’s just here to pick up something in the bakery section so he’s not wearing one.

Oh wow, I am so sorry you had to witness such behavior. Are you okay?

I’ll be alright. A little shaken up but got over it by the time I got to the bell peppers.
Those kids though? They’ll be forever disrespectful to authority.

The mandate doesnt require a mask if you maintain 6 ft of distance.
There is literally nothing to enforce here.
And let's quit acting like private properties would be doing this if they werent threatened to lose their operating license by the guvnah

A private business has decided to enforce it. They could ignore it and not have someone at the door, but they do.
As I suspected, plenty of you don’t actually give a shite about the rights of private property when they are inconvenient.
this is transparently bullshite.
if businesses don't comply, they get shut down through permit/license removal. if their suppliers don't comply, they lose their permits and licenses too.

So you agree the guy was a complete dick for risking the business license of a place he clearly loves? Where else is he going to get that chicken salad sandwich tray?

But they make it worse according to science. Maybe we should just shut down the world so people stay off our backs.

But a private property owner can. If you don't like the private property owner's rules, don't go onto the private property owners property.
I don't care if you wear a mask or not but people that insist on violating private property while throwing around "rights" is a hypocrite at best.

this isn't at all what we were talking about.
a place of business will set the policy and comply best they can.
a patron that acts against the policy doesn't jeopardize their license because the policy is all that is demanded by the state.
being in compliance with the mandate hasn't escalated to a state demand for private security, but somebusinesses have put another worker out front like this lady to attempt to show how in-compliance they are.
all they want is to be left alone to make money.

YES! Thank you.

I mean, it kinda is.
We both know Rouse’s wouldn’t do this on their own, but they’ve decided to dedicate a specific person to enforcing the policy at the door. If they ask, the legal obligation is on you at that point. None of your Individual freedoms matter one bit when you chose to walk onto their property. That’s the point of the thread - the irony.
