Guy brushed past Rouse’s welcome lady today as she asked him repeatedly to wear a mask

Must have told him 3 times as he entered the store. He tells her he’s just here to pick up something in the bakery section so he’s not wearing one.

I hate wearing a mask like most, but if a private store asked to, I’d have no issues with it...

Shows how ridiculous this delegation of mandate/law enforcement is. At least she said something. Most wouldn’t have even done that (they’re low wage employees who don’t want to deal with this kind of bullshite, nor should they). And I guarantee the dude went in, got what he needed, checked out, and left with no further interruption. Seen it a dozen times already. Most recently at a Rouses today.
And I’m quite certain it wasn’t a Trump supporter. I’ll leave it at that...

She cannot physically restrain him
She told him the rules, since he chose not to put on a mask she should have called the police
If the police choose not to respond that is between the police & JBE
I had to deal with the police 2 weeks ago & he said they were not requiring anyone to wear a mask
Once people figure out the police won’t show up you are going to have less people wearing masks
