Guy is a little bitch. He fought for the flag, but also fought for our freedom and having the choice to put it at half mast or not.
Trashy as frick.

It's a half staff today.

Hmmm
from Walker, LA
SSG Retired (should take no longer than 6 years to make that rank)
CEO Veterans United for Justice (may be legit but may be a scam 501(c)

Agreed. She could have agreed to lower the flag.
At the same time she probably didn't have a clue as to what happened to the fallen soldiers and marines. Her supervisor could have been a man and met this veteran face to face.
I would have figured a hick town like walker would do the right thing. Guess walker is too mephed out

Lowering the flag is a decision that probably has to come from corporate head quarters. They are probably more worried about getting fired for taking an action that can only be allowed by the corporate office.

frick that waste of flesh. Who gives a frick if someone doesn't lower a flag. He's just another bitch looking to whine about something and tell the world how strongly he feels about the issue. Would've been hilarious if Walker police arrested him.

I love his argument
"You have every right now to fly the way I want it....BUT GODDAMN YOU PIECE OF shite WHY WONT YOU FLY THE FLAG THE WAY I WANT IT"

I think we have a "flag worship" issue in this country.
I respect what the flag stands for, but some of our traditions are silly.

Yeah he should have been an e7 or 8. Unless he was that rank and had some article 15's or other ucmj's.
Then again some units just don't like to promote anyone

If anyone gets a chance, read the Facebook comments. It's just more of his white trash brethren sucking him off for being a piece of human filth.

Mc Donald's should of had the flag lowered from the get go
He is being a bully, the young lady did not have the authority to lower the flag., if he was in the military he should understand the chain of command and realize the orders had to come from above
The real looser and coward is the supervisor who left the young lady alone in this situation

No matter the value VUFJ may be delivering (and a quick review of the Web site leads me to believe it's delivering close to nothing other than serving as a portal to donate money to "CEO" Ducote), this guy's actions portray him as an egotistical, arrogant blowhard.
This is typical behavior of a person who is weak and insecure. A person who is constantly saying "look at me!" I'm a soldier (a WARRIOR), and a great American (a BETTER American than you) and I'm willing to make a commitment (a BIGGER commitment than yours) to constantly be on guard for any perceived slight against the USA (SUPPORT THE TROOPS!) committed by anyone.
That "CEO" Ducote would choose to visit his "outrage" on workers at a random McDonalds restaurant is pathetic. These folks are minimum/low wage earners trying to make a few bucks and get home. Despite working, they may still be drawing other forms of government assistance, but they're trying - they're there working.
If "CEO" Ducote has a brain cell in his self-centered head, which I doubt or he'd be tackling bigger problems, he'd know that workers at a McDonalds have virtually no authority to do anything other than open and close the place, receive deliveries, prepare and serve food and keep the restaurant and parking lot clean. They have no decision rights over actions that impact the corporate brand.
If "CEO" Ducote had any real desire to solve his problem, he'd have contacted a McDonalds corporate office to discuss his "concerns." In this day and age, he might have received satisfaction. But of course he didn't take that route because what he really wants is attention and clicks on his Web site and hopefully donations made to him. To HIM, because remember, he's the "CEO" of VUFJ. And to get those clicks, "CEO" Ducote does have an amazing resemblance to 13-year-old girl by running to Facebook to scream about his "outrage."
So, "CEO" Ducote, in honor of you I'm going to do something today that I had no plans to do; indeed, something I haven't done in probably 20 years. For you, I will make an honor-bound commitment to find a McDonalds restaurant, go in and order some bad food and say "thank you" to the person who takes my order.
Thank you, "CEO" Ducote. You have inspired me to take action today to embrace my freedoms as an American by expressing my opposition to you as an individual.
I do care about and offer support to our real troops, but not you "CEO" Ducote. I do not and will not support or respect you.
From the bottom of my patriotic heart, screw you, "CEO" Ducote.

McDonalds sucks. Who knew?

Yeah...... it's just a flag. Whoever that is a dick!
Will it be just a flag when it's draped over those 11 caskets or when they are folded and handed over to wives/family? Guess some take more pride in 'that flag' than others do.
