What the hell is wrong with people

NEW ORLEANS -- NOPD officers are on the scene of a triple shooting in Gert Town.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, one person has died and two more were wounded after being shot near the corner of Earhart Boulevard and Dante Street on Thursday afternoon. The report came in just before 4 p.m.
Officials said three men were sitting inside a car in a parking lot, when a black vehicle came on the side of it. NOPD Superintendent said at least two shooters came on either side of the car, firing into it.
Harrison added the two surviving men were in surgery and are presumed to be in critical condition.

I just read that from January 1 - February 1, every 10 hrs, on average, someone has been shot in New Orleans.. Every 44 hrs someone has died from being shot.

Sounds like a hit. Two shooters approach the car from different sides and turn it into swiss cheese.
I wish they were all so efficient. The wounding to killing ratio could stand a lot of improvement.

Drove right by it after it happened. Stuck at the light and Carrollton and Earhart, and a cop parks right in the middle of Earhart and blocks it off, waving the traffic down Carrollton instead. I look and see a dozen lights two blocks away with more coming up Carrollton . Traffic looked like when everyone was fleeing LA in Independence Day. Happy Mardi Gras !

It's insane. The number of shootings this year has already passed where we were at as of April of last year.
