This was on the daily Mail article about it.
quote:
An unidentified gunman allegedly told multiple people to clear the medical center and that he was looking for a 'Dr. Phillips' at time of shooting.
Police confirmed that the gunman killed three people and left one person in critical condition before he turned the gun on himself.

which is much more lenient in sentencing for all types of crimes than America,
Are you sure about that when all scenarios like plea bargaining are considered?
Yes. Look at England. They have around 60ish people in the entire country that are currently serving their version of life without parole. That number for the U.S. is around 55K.

Now do Chicago
Its one thing when people shoot each other in areas you know where not to go. Let the hoodlums kill each other all day long.
Its the public areas that are a problem. Schools, churches, grocery stores, hospitals. That's all supposed to be places that is safe to take your family..

I’d like them to check and see if this person or those like Him have Facebook accounts. If so why not blame Facebook? Social media has led to a rise in mental illness, why don’t they talk about banning Facebook? Guess the gov doesn’t want to shut down an easy way to spy on people.

Here comes deer rifle ban
Have this argument all the time. Learned to shoot a rifle as a kid on a .243. It was a bolt action. But it was my buddies and he used his dads .270 “automatic”. We always called them that. Any of you older fellas remember saying that? Remember we were kids and this was pre-Columbine. No big politics or quibbling over terms. We called those rifles “automatics” as well as 12 gauge “autos”.
Of course they were semi-auto. Our use back then of the term auto just meant you did not have to pump a shotgun shell or bolt a round into the chamber.
My point being they’ve always been around. They were just prettier. Real wood and gunmetal. I do not recall what the largest magazine could hold back then. There just weren’t as many recreational shooters back then. You shot for “practice” to get better. Recreation was getting one of Dads old beer cans that he gave up full or got hot, and you gave that can hell. But our cheap assed Boomer Dads raised hell that you were wasting money ripping through rifle rounds to kill a stump. Was the Oklahoma guy using an AR style or just an old country boy deer rifle?
Pistols? Browning or Colt? Colt was 1911. How old was Brownings SA pistol.

Just shortening of the real name of the action, was autoloading. Not used much these days.

Do away with lethal injection. Murderers don't fear dieing by going to sleep. Bring back the Electric chair in major sporting stadiums so the victims family and the world can watch them fry.

This would probably incentivize the ones looking for attention even more. Horrible idea.

Would a hanging exhibition be more effective. It worked quite well after WW2.

Hearing the time-line of why the shooter did what he did is crazy. Went pretty much John Q but for his own pain mgt after a surgery he had.
