Don't worry, Joe is going to stop the spread of "ghost guns". Nevermind that "ghost guns" aren't the problem.
As far as ammo, it's a perfect storm of international trade being disrupted, increased gun sales after the left fermented a summer of lawlessness (first time owners need ammo to learn properly), and the standard run on all things gun related when the left takes control.
I am in the outdoor media and can tell you this is as cyclical as recessions. However due to the perfect storm this cycle is the equivalent to the great depression. Manufacturers scaled down production to avoid flooding the market and high overhead. Vista (Federal) has told us the biggest problem they have right now is getting the brass and primers needed to manufacture the ammo. I heard this weekend that people who reload their ammo are starting to have issues finding gun powder. Vista has told us that they don't expect things to get back to normal until mid-2022 at the earliest and this could stretch into early 2023. (My personal view...people who are being paid more to sit home than work are having a very bad effect on the supply chain.)

I’m saying gun ownership isn’t a problem for anyone except those in government that fear an armed populous, and the bigger question you should be asking is why would someone in government be fearful of an armed populous unless they had something to fear from that populous being armed?
This is about subjugation. It’s not about gun violence that originates in government funded ghettos in this country, AKA the Government Plantation.

or just enforce the laws on the books already. All these new actions are just the liberal ploy to take steps towards outright bans. They can say, "look at all these laws, they arent doing anything, only thing left is to just ban guns"

This is definitely what I'm interested to see. A law that makes millions of law abiding citizens criminals overnight is insane.

If their plan is to focus on the weapons killing the most people, they'd focus on handguns, but that's not what this is about. This is about hacking away people's overall gun rights by picking the lowest hanging fruit first.
Handguns will absolutely be next on the list.
