Won't be a good move when Stacey Abrams is Governor. Did they not think this through?

Good. They can bring all of those gun toting voters and community influence with them where they're needed.

Once a new Sec of State gets all the dead people off the Atlanta voter roles the State will red out again.

They should have moved to Tennessee. They’ll have to leave Georgia in 10 years.

Call me crazy but if I’m moving to find conservative grounds for the future the state with Atlanta in it is not a top 5 choice.
That was my first thought. With ol' Gap Grill encouraging Georgia elections to have less integrity, there's no chance in hell I'd spend the money to move there. Several better options.

The only thing that would make sense is if Georgia is footing most of the bill. The math doesn't match up if it's just a straight $100m cost when the parent company paid only $13m for the division.

ETA: I think a lot of these companies will get the hell out of New York in the coming 18 months. The bitch who is screwing with the NRA seems to be the favorite to become the next governor. I'm very surprised the NSSF (best known as the organization who runs the SHOT Show) hasn't left Newtown yet.

I hope it works out better for GA than it did for Huntsville.

Although Huntsville was only a manufacturing facility and not the HQ move. I'm sure with it being HQ they will be less likely to shut it down.

Georgia is a blue state now. Bad move.

Georgia is "blue" when the Republican Party falls asleep at the switch and presents the state with idiotic candidates.

By this standard, Louisiana, by failing to elect an adult baby diaper fetishist Governor, also turned blue.

Unlike the Louisiana Republican Party, the Georgia Republican Party will likely learn from its mistakes.

This is good news for Georgia. Now if we can get three ammo manufacturing plants here, we can save the republic!

It’s a politically diverse state, which is a good thing. You don’t want to end up like parts of California… but let’s be real: Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana are redder than the blood hitting the soil in Gettysburg and they are dead last in virtually every metric of a successful society, so, having balance can be a good thing.

Very dumb statement. Toyota, Nissan, Amazon, Mercedes and Hyundai all have market capitalization that would dwarf Remington and have massive facilities in Alabama and MS worth much more than $100 million. The power grid for the new Amazon facility outside Canton MS cost $55 million. So much for not being successful.

Gotta be honest. It pisses me off that Louisiana isn't even in this conversation of gun manufacturers moving South.

We literally have everything a manufacturer would want except one thing...
