Guns are bad. They indiscriminate. They're always killing someone or some innocent creature in the woods. DM me if you want in on a gun raffle 52 guns in 52 days.

Wyoming had no laws except for carrying into a bank or church. Walked in from the field during hunting season, I had filled my antelope tag that morning. Into the bank to cash a check. Tap on the shoulder "Forget something?" Raised my hands, "Want to take that until I'm ready to leave.?"
"Hunting this morning?" "Grizzly seen nearby three days ago." "One in the chamber." Five for the bear and one for me."

Line was laughing .....typical day in the wild west.....

Might have been a Glock

This is why I like hammer fired SA/DA pistols or revolvers. It takes effort and deliberation to fire them.

Yes, it actually does. It meant they were trained and ready to fight when necessary. It meant town militias would have regular training with firearms in case they were needed to defend the area against attack.

Pretty well documented.

Man, I worked a place where 80% of the people in the field were black. It used to be a running joke because just about every vehicle in the parking lot where they parked had a gun. After hearing them talking to each other about having a gun in their car a supervisor went walk in the parking lot to look through the window. Some of them didn't even hide their gun. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we estimated that maybe 10% of of those dudes bought their gun legally. You think requiring owners to have a permit will make a difference?

Israeli carry really is the best option for your average cc.
IDK. I was always taught that the majority of incidents that involve use of a CC happen in close proximity and there's a very good chance that you won't have your other arm available to rack the slide (holding them off, being grabbed, etc...) in which case your pistol just became a more expensive, less effective hammer.

I don't have a safety on my CC and carry locked and loaded in a safety holster.

My guess is that it was the husband's gun but he is a felon so he lets her carry it. And since she has no training or understanding, carelessly dug through her purse and accidentally discharged it.

Perfect example of weak management catering to certain tastes that have ruined the restaurant and made it one of the better places to hang out in this area to completely off limit.

But hey, keep bumping rap music post 6pm and asking everyone if they wants samples of everything before they order. That’ll fix it.

They do have some weak management and their prices are already high. Problem is they can’t raise it more because the quality of the food isn’t to the level it would require to get the bad patrons out.

Look at this dumb Fudd thinking a permit would have meant the gun would have been placed in a proper holster for carrying in a purse.

Yes, because a thug will always wait politely while you fumble with the slide to chamber a round. Properly holstered weapons are never an issue to carry in condition 1 or 0.

I don't personally know a single person who's ever fired a gun in self-defense, but I have witnessed at least two accidental discharges.

I guess everyone needs to make their own evaluation. My logic is that the likelihood of ever needing to use my gun in self-defense is incredibly small. And of those situations, only in a small percent would I not have time to rack a round. That must be weighed against the likelihood of an accidental discharge resulting from mechanical failure or user error, which I perceive to be greater.

So all the little-boy countries that have all the gun-control laws you dimwits could want and STILL have mass shootings and wanton killing of innocents means what? It seems your IQ is a cooler room temperature.

Good for, you are one data point among millions of others that have used a gun in self-defense.

That's all fine and dandy until your number is called. People probably feel the same way about keeping a fire extinguisher handy or batteries in their smoke alarms, they won't think they need them until they do.

If you had any awareness on how quickly these situations can develop and how poor your reaction will be under duress...

I carry a stock Glock 26 IWB, the trigger is completely covered by the kydex outer layer. There's nothing that's going to cause the gun to fire short of a deliberate human action. The chances I might need to use that gun quickly are vastly greater than the chance of a random mechanical failure.
