I didn’t realize the band hall and practice field were isolated from the main part of campus like they are.
We drove past it down Aster a few times a year for swim meets, and I thought that whole area was just parking on the outskirts of campus. Yet there’s the band hall even further to the north.

The way they structured that article was so weird:
- There was a gunshot, the LSU band is safe
- nobody on LSU’s campus was hurt

They had to build their own field because there were too many conflicts with DJ practice at the stadium

It is across the street from LSU dorms and LSU apartments.. use to be married student dorm there also.. the area is a designated LSU commuter parking area???
