Tanden was a poster's kid sister's secret pet that she was hiding in her room. The poster had pics and it was Christmas. He made her tell the parents, who let her keep the little guy. We funded an enclosure but the poor little guy died a few weeks later when he choked on magazines. It was a really great Christmas thread.

It was actually a pretty funny thread. I didn't follow it at the time, but someone linked it awhile ago and I read the whole thing.

they made it a temporary shelter of dirt and pine straw and water and rocks, but from what I read its going to need a LOT more space as it grows. his gf's brother killed its mom, and he and his gf decided to rescue it. FWIW, this isnt the first time he's done this. he raised a duck in a bathroom for three months until we found it a home a couple years ago.
