when laws normalize you will have the same strata of retail quality that we currently have in alcoholic beverages...off brand discount, name brands and premium strains

what’s missing from the market now is the off brand discount stuff which will make big money for the producers and help balance out the market

A QP cost a G. 4 QPs for a G is a quarter going bulk rate.

Always the guys who great they get the best prices, etc.
The market ratesare what they are. 1/8 is still going to be between $40-60 depending on who you know. Most dealers are paying $27.50 per 1/8 so it's hard to get it too cheap unless you know a distributer.

While I love the fact that they've legalized weed, this sounds a lot like socialism of a particular market. Legal should be legal.

I think I used to pay between $90-120 for a 1/2 depending on what it was.

Colorado.

And that’s if you buy 16 of them at a time.

Which is illegal, even there. You can only possess an ounce at a time.

And your reply failed to realize I was asking about someone’s claim of getting it cheaper than that on the black market. Which is 100% bullshite.

That is just absurd

I’m paying $160 for an ounce, and this is high-grade, knock you on your arse/ stare at the ceiling shite.

This isn’t indicative of quality, it’s the species of the plant. Cannabis Indica will produce the high you’re talking about.

I could have quality sativa that gives me a more energetic high and they could be the same in terms of price and quality.

They all serve different purposes, but if you think high quality means couch lock, you’re very wrong.

Well a better way to describe it I guess would be to say that it’s quite pungent and has a high THC content. It has a lot of hairs/ crystals and the whole house smells dank when you open the jar.

I don’t doubt that, I’m just saying that’s not the reason you get the knock you on your arse/stare at the ceiling effect. That’s because it’s likely indica, which produces more of a body high. Great for insomnia.

It's been true in California in the two years I've been here and it's sure true in Oregon right now. They're so swamped with pot in Oregon they can't hardly give it away.
