I ran numbers in August. I'm am spending an addition 346 a month on gas and food alone for a family of 5.
The fuel surcharge I I this week for electrical was 55 extra..
So I'm up to 400 more per month vs January.
400 fricking dollars.
Edit: I make decent but my wife quit teaching years ago to homeschool our three kids so as a single earner 400 is a big damn deal.

I remember under Trumpito, I couldn't buy toilet paper to wipe my arse, meat counters were empty, clorox and cleaners were no where to be found, rice gone, pasta sauce gone, bread gone, paper towels gone.....and things they did get in, they would limit the amount you could purchase.
It fricking sucked. Never seen anything like it in my life and I pray I never do again.
Using the logic of the OT now, every one of those shortages was Trumpito's fault. The pandemic wasn't that bad and obviously has no impact on international commerce, so I MUST point the finger at Trump for barely being able to feed my family due to food shortages. And that doesn't even get into how he fricked up the prices on lumber, made appliances impossible to find, etc.
