Grocery Poll: Anyone Seeing Meat Shortages

Went to a Walmart today in Houma.
The meat case was substantially full except for a few spots.
The butter/margarine section was a little thin. I had to buy real butter sticks instead of the cheap margarine I usually buy.
Still not an ounce of Clorox wipes or certain cleaning products to be found.
Lots of toilet paper and paper towels.

I was in the bogalusa Walmart earlier this week and the meat pickings were slim
They also didn’t have hormel chili with no beans which pissed me off

Yes. Wal Mart and Rouses are pretty damn thin, but big ticket items like larger steak packs or briskets are still available.

Went to Sam's last Sunday and there was no hamburge. There were a few steaks, ribs and plenty of chicken.

Everything is stocked.
Meat was something that never disappeared, so everyone who is a hoarder probably already packed their freezer.

The supply chain seems to be breaking down in several areas. We are watching society collapse in real time

Sams in Hoover was depleted.

Nope.
Got a burger at “We’re-running-out-of-meat” Wendy’s yesterday and the day before.

Not a shortage, it just gets bought up quick every day right now.
Plenty if you go in the morning.

Look for it to get scarce next week ...and what will be available is going to be triple the price of today...

I went to one in Houma on Monday and had to get a chicken sandwich. They even had signs they were running low on sausage too.

Some people can’t afford the real stuff
Are you really going to put him down because he can’t afford butter?
