That isn't grizzly bears though. Tiger is no match for a grizzly or polar.
During the gold Rush, they imported lions, tigers, silverbacks etc and put them in pits with grizzly bears. The grizzly was undefeated.

It is a grizzly. It's the Ussuri Russian brown bear, AKA Black Grizzly and are comparable in size to the inland grizzlies of Wyoming and Montana, 400-800lbs.

Grizzly's on Kodiak Island are much bigger than that. Get big on all the salmon.

Grizzlies usually won these matchups. However, there was one lion named Parnell that defeated at least one grizzly in a cage fight that I recall reading. This lion also fought bulls and was eventually mortally wounded by a bull after fighting other bulls the same day. That was a bad arse lion.
