It could be recency bias, and it could also be because I'm a dorky white guy, but the Progressive commercials with Dr. Rick where Dr. Rick works with young homeowners who are becoming their parents is completely awe-inspiring.

If there was ever a time to make a sitcom spinoff from an advertising campaign, this would probably be it.

The 90s was the pinnacle of funny commercials. It’s all been downhill since then.

Love those commercials too. Every one hits the mark.

ETA: They are too good - because they are by far my favorite, yet I couldn’t have told you off the top of my head that they were for Progressive.

They did it with Ted Lasso, to smashing (at least the first 2 seasons) success. He was originally created to promote the Premier League coming to NBC.
