I was an Air Force brat and learned it in Tennessee:
Great big gobs of ooey, gooey gopher guts,
Chopped up birdie feet,
Mutilated monkey meat.
French fried eyeballs
Swimming in a pool of pop.
I forgot my spoon.
And this one, sung to the tune of Bridge Over the River Kwai:
Comet, it makes your teeth turn green.
Comet, it tastes like Listerine.
Comet, it makes you vomit.
So get some Comet and vomit today!

Never realized this was a trend back then. I always thought Carl was just singing it because he was pursuing the little brown furry rodents on the course and was killing time.

We added a little bit after the spoon/straw line. Don’t know if it was just a neighborhood thing a kid invented after watching a campbells soup commercial or more commonplace:
