These cops were being too “nice” with this POS.

This, as soon as they don't comply...start the escalation. I know there are rules but in my mind you got about 15 seconds from first request to getting your damn shoulders dislocated getting yanked to the ground. Just hand em a mouthpiece and tell em to get fricking ready.

Did he? or did he take the cops gun?

Really can’t tell. Was he able to get his the last time he was in the car and they were pulling him by his legs?

It's kind of hard to tell what happened at the end. It looks like he got one of the cop's guns? I couldn't imagine escalating a situation with the cops like that.

Watch it again. It was his gun, he pulled it from under his seat.

This is exactly why when cops are in this situation they use deadly force. Because things can change in an instant, and they have no clue what the person in the car has, or is capable of. They give orders and you listen, you are fine. You dont comply, then their life is in danger

They were lighting him up with pepper spray that's for sure...

But did he put the gun out of his car or did he take the officer's gun?

That’s already been answered. It was his gun.

Very similar to Alton Sterling. Two officers trying to control someone who is extremely non compliant. Taser doesn’t work so they go to hand to hand force. They try to control his rt arm, but lose control. Only difference is Sterling didn’t get his shots off. He freed his hand long enough to to reach into the pocket and grab the gun, but could get a round off before the officers. This is exactly why you don’t pay Sterling’s family a nickle. It’s ridiculous what these officers have to deal with say in and out. I agree that that there are a small percentage of situations that could be handled better, however, officers do not have the luxury of being mind readers. Situations like these cause them to react to all non compliant folks in a similar manner. The fact is that if Ware and Sterling peacefully allow the officers to take them into custody, no one is hurt or killed.

Here's another article. I haven't read anything about using the officers gun. I do think it was his own

quote:

The video also shows the alleged accomplice’s car arriving on scene after showing Ware calling for help.

The alleged accomplice, Matthew Hall, is accused of driving Ware away from the scene after the shooting.
Franklin said Zarkeshan originally pulled Ware over because of a wide turn that, combined with the time of night, could indicate an intoxicated driver.

Ware started shooting the officers 17 minutes after he was pulled over, according to the video.

Yep, but if they did shoot this non-compliant POS, the reports are that police killed another “unarmed” citizen.

Do some of you people immediately apply politics to everything you see?

Watching the video, at no point did I think about politics.

I saw the police dealing with some dude who was either under the influence or was mentally unstable who refused to get out of his vehicle which resulted in the police using pepper spray and a taser to try to get him out of the vehicle.. And one they pulled him out, he stop both of them.

Why would anyone be excited to see this?

It really is horrible to watch.

That shitbag yelling "HELP" while he's doing all he can to get to the gun. Those officers had him sniffed out for the shitbag he was and one lost his life. Its a shame they didn't smoke the a-hole.

A good article about the officer that was killed in this incident and how the anti-police climate probably impacted his decision making.
