Gen Z is inept in interacting in real life.

I'm assuming "online" includes phone dating services. Those were a thing in the 80s. There were ads for them in the newspaper and commercials on tv.

Bulletin boards, listservs, etc, have been around since the late 70s.

Crazy that people aren't meeting people through mutual friends anymore - that's hard to comprehend - How can you rather meet a stranger off the internet based off some pictures and a couple of text messages versus being set-up through trusted friends. Glad I'm not in the dating scene - last thing I'd want to do is deal with dating via an app.

I assume that falls under grade school even though that’s a funny way to put it

agreed

you have to consider that only about 50-60% of Americans go to college. Out of that 50-60% many are doing online courses. Then consider that in 1960 something like 5% of people went to college. This is why the number is low.

I was on dating apps 14 years ago. Do you know how many women I didn't frick on the first date? It might have been two. The women on there are throwing it around to anyone and everyone. Dating apps are for suckers these days. Get off the dating apps and meet people organically.

If she is even semi-attractive she was bored out like a 350 chevy by tons of guys before you married her. Congrats.

Don't care, it still grips.

My buddy hasn’t been married and smashes tons of chicks on dating apps. If I were single again I’d have some fun but would never be in a relationship with a woman on an app as most are damaged and ran thru.

That’s shocking to me that college is literally the lowest

Only 60 percent of people go to college at all, and this includes people who are on-line only. A much smaller percentage actually go to class on campus and a smaller number than that stay for very long, beyond a few semesters.

A lot of people who go to college, meet their spouse in college. Just a lot of people don't go to college.

Isn't it better to have a pool of 100,000 people to pick from, rather than a pool of 400?

I'm sure some Sedevacantist will tell me that this is Vatican II's fault.

makes sense. I would expect that number to go up however now that more people are getting secondary educations more than ever

Things have changed.

I've heard plenty of stories from coworkers who are on there. Dating apps are for simps. Get yourself in shape, practice proper hygiene and get out there and meet people in person instead of being glued to a bunch of apps. If people aren't meeting you that you match with its your appearance, level of education, or career or all three.

Depends on the pool.

Is it maintained regularly to crystal clear or dark green and filled with gators and debris and yuck?
