A set of grandparents are accused of killing their 3-year-old grandson, according to Tennessee authorities.

Hardin County Sheriff Johnny Alexander said deputies found 3-year-old Carson Brasher dead the day after Christmas in 2023, WSMV reported.

Deputies said Jeff and Amy Brasher were arrested on charges related to his death on March 29. The case was presented to a grand jury and the grandparents were indicted.

WSMV reported that Amy Brasher was indicted on first-degree murder, child abuse and neglect charges. Jeff Brasher was charged with child abuse and neglect.

Look at these winners right here. I don't know what's up with old boys face - if it's a megafricked up birthmark or something. Hopefully it's a bruise from getting his arse kicked.

Carson’s mother, Kimberly Jones, says that her son was full of life and the sweetest little boy.

“He had three sisters, well four sisters, and he had a brother. He was the youngest. He was my only boy out of four children,” said Kimberly Jones, Mother of the victim.

Three sisters. Four sisters...? Five sisters? I don't know

Are they her parents? Her husband's parents...? Her baby daddy parents? Foster parents? It's pretty vague.

I'd like to know more but this is already depressing enough as it is.

younger boomers and gen Xers becoming our society's grandparents/elders is going to be wild.

going from WWII and great depression survivors to a bunch of divorced and bitter hedonists.

This lady doesn't know how many kids she and, I'm assuming, her baby daddies have. She doesn't know if they are boys or girls. The grandparents are psychopaths. Those poor kids.

Looks to me like the mother is saying the deceased boy had 4 sisters and a brother, but only the 3 sisters are also related to the mother.

At least with the grandparents, that started 25+ years ago. That youngest of the Gen X'ers are in their mid 40s. The oldest are starting to hit 60. Boomers are the elders now, not WWII and Great Depression survivors. The youngest WWII veterans are mid-90s.

Just take them both to the Pickwick Dam, tie some cinder blocks on to their feet, tie their hands and feet together and throw them off.

Or.... just take them out into the woods and come back without them. "I have no idea what happened to them."

I'm counting 6 kids with 2 being boys. Somebody needs to gather up the rest of these kids, however many there are, and get them away from this family.

silent generation and the remainder of the greatest generation. But yeah, the shift is definitely in process.

What iI mean is when zoomers are like 35 and their grandparents (probably Xers) are in their 70s/80s. I feel bad for them.

eta: and i think there's a significant difference between the oldest and youngest boomers.

Y’all do know that there’s an entire generation between the WWII generation and boomers right?

This has been so crazy! I know the grandfather. He is/was a medic that I’ve known for years.

Everyone around here in the medical community is completely baffled.

Never in a million would’ve thought he would be capable of any type of abuse or neglect.

Guess you never do really know ppl…

That poor baby…
