I understand the law and intent I just often see an application of it that I think sucks

They've charged a 21 year old girl with first degree murder. Seems excessive and expensive

You'll only know if you try to talk it out peacefully.

No I didn't but I know they are high powered guns. No need to be in anyone's hands besides the military

Let's say the victim (yes, I'm talking about the homeowner), didn't have a weapon. You have three men, two of them armed, against one unarmed man. What do you think would have happened?

Armed with the brass knuckles and such?

He'd probably still be Alived. The perps usually aren't trying to kill-- usually they are just trying to take hings that can be replaced -- material things. Nothing an insurance policy or a nice tax payer funded police investigation can't recoup

I sincerely hope someone breaks into your house, beats the frick out of you and your loved ones, and steals all of your shite.

And then I hope you come to this board and defend them.

Shooting guns is a lot of fun, you don't have to have a "purpose" to own multiple guns.

And your trolling has been exposed.

Brass knuckles AND a knife.

He also might not be.

People who bring weapons to commit home invasions and robberies bring them because they know they may have to use them.

I know you're probably just trolling but I'm biting.

The whole point of the AR-15 is to be an unfair advantage while defending your home from POS.

So we need to charge a 21 year old girl with murder for being the getaway driver for a B&E? That's moronic

Besides that the law stating its murder if someone dies as a result of you committing/participating in a felony, regardless of who pulled the trigger.

But in this case, the girl was the mastermind behind the whole planning for the burglary. So she planned out the crime and knew 2 of her accomplices were going in with weapons (which significantly increases the odds of someone being seriously injured or killed). In this case, the surviving accomplice bears a huge amount of responsibility for the deaths of her 3 friends. If she's has a good attorney and is smart, she'll plea deal it down to 2nd degree or manslaughter and at least avoid life in prison.

Strongsafety thinks the robbers should bring weapons to protect themselves from the homeowner.
