My grandma believed in drilling a hole in your head if you had a headache to let the evil out.

It must have worked because I never had a headache again.

Nope, never. It was called painting your throat bc when you swabbed real good it stayed that orange color.

An old boss of mine suggested drinking a cup of buttermilk for an upset stomach.

Aloe Vera gel relieved major sunburn when I used to spend all day at the LSU baseball regionals (1993).

Aloe Vera is the best but that lady showed a new way to relieve the heat from the burn. I can’t remember exactly what she did, btbit had something to do with menthol shaving cream.

When we were at the camp when I was a kid, if you cut yourself mawmaw would make you jump in the bayou, I know it was to soak in salt water, but knowing what I know about the bayou now, it’s probably the last thing I should have done, but I’m still alive and never lost a limb, so it all worked out.

You know what actually works? Gargling with kerosene works.

I still sip on pickle juice for Nausea and my grandmother would soak a paper bag in vinegar and wrap around sore muscles to take the soreness out. I haven’t tried that in a long time

For fever blisters. When you first feel the tingle. Run your ear wax on it. Blister will never pop up. For the crud all stopped up. Eat a tablespoon of Vicks Vapor rub. Will knock it right out over night. Book it

Green Jelly beans for upset stomach. Only the green ones.

She was schitz, did time in the old state hospital before they could level out her lithium.
