Should've taken them "to the car".

Not a very descriptive article. Was he slapping or hitting them in the face? If multiple witnesses took offense and the police arrested him after watching the video it may have been excessive. I mean this is Scottsboro Alabama, not San Francisco.

This phrase, at a restaurant, is like DEFCON 4 for my kids.

They know it's one time I'm not fu**ing around.

100% agreed.

We had an exposed aggregate patio. I had to kneel on that shite in the blazing summer sun. Brutal.

You need to change your number. DEFCON counts down from 5, so 4 is pretty light. DEFCON 2 would be the last number before the bombs start dropping

My brother's and I called my dad's bluff on "you want me to pull this car over?" Plenty people saw 3 young boys getting their arse's beat on the side of I-10. No one to my knowledge called the cops.

my band director always said "never whip or beat kids, it leaves marks and evidence, instead always yank their hair"

hurts just as bad and leaves no marks.

The old man in the pic reminded me of that creepy guy.

yeah, we had a laser-tag team in the 90's (that just sounds 90's to say, lol)

And our name was Defcon 5. People constantly pointed out that our name meant "total peace"
Oh well we were teens and it sounded cool.

(our plaque is still up at the Laser tag in BR)
